Powered by: E-Games

Operation7 is an MMOFPS, which puts much worth on realism. You can get out of small society, your own PC and friends. You will encounter hundres of thousands of competitors in Opreation7 and you have to take them down or you will be.

The main feature of Operation7 is a gigantic weapon management. Are you sick of same guns that everyone is using? You can modify your guns, many parts for all guns such as Dot Sights, Scopes, Kobs, Silencers, Gun Body, Barrels, and build up a unique gun for you! And each component can use protective coloring. Each gun will vary in range and accuracy depending on the material is used. A part has effect on the other one. The weapons, which you bought, do not expire. I.e. player, who plays not regularly Operation7, does not have to be afraid that his/her weapons after some time expires. The weapons arises more tactical possibilities in fights. In addition, players' body movements while shooting, such as dashing or holding breath, will also influence destruction and accuracy.

Real life maps are another feature of Operation7. Shooting games either use famous battlefields or virtual scenes as their maps. But Operation7 uses real life locations as its maps. Famous places in London, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Moscow, Milan, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and so on will be included and updated in future map.

More than 700 types of sound created in Operation7 to achieve realistic sound effects. Have you ever felt “Am I shooting real gun? I think I’m shooting toy gun,” while playing FPS games? We do not recommend you to set volume high while you are playing operation7. Police might be standing on your door after 5 minutes of you. Over 700 sounds like footsteps and breathing, players must pay attention to the noise they make. Enemies listen to it.

Each character has seven decorative item slots in his inventory. He can change costume, helmet, goggle, etc. In addition, the character can wear camouflage coat to improve his disguising ability. Lots of cool skins are provided. Maybe on tourney mode or certain maps, players from blue team are forced to use a certain type of uniform, and players from gold team are forced to use another uniform. It will make really look good. Do you want to be soldier? gangsta? or do you want to be look like grass so nobody notices you are aiming at them in the plain of reed? Operation7 serves you.

Let’s start and Get in Battlefield

The game must be launched from the download site though the desktop icon will automatically bring players to the appropriate site. After character creation, you’ll be put through a brief mandatory tutorial. The final step of the tutorial contains a short training obstacle course which test the basic gameplays introduced earlier in the tutorial; aiming, firing, reloading, using grenades, running, ducking and so on. After the tutorial, you’ll find yourself in the game lobby with a list of rooms hosted by other players.

Operation7 has five game modes; Head Hunting, Death Match, Survival, Demolition, and Hold the Line. Rooms support up to 24 players and this varies by game mode selected. The host may also tweak such settings as game time, friendly fire and number of kills required for victory.

Headhunting: A head for each team are chosen. The team tHead kills the opposing team’s head wins.

Deathmatch: Win or loss is determined based on how many kills each team has. The team Head reaches the goal faster wins.

Survival: Game continues until everyone in a team dies. The team tHead completely annihilates the other team wins.

Demolition: Each team must protect or blow up the designated areas.

Hold the Line: Players must try to take over the neutral flag in each area or try to occupy more places than the enemies to win.

What’s different?

Operation7 emphasizes modern day combat so expect to go in to battle with the usual suspects; AK-47s, M4s, MP5s, M16, AUG, MAC10, K2, and so forth. Players have a chance to experience real weapons current soldiers in the world are using.

You can also tilt to the side in order to shoot stealthily behind object. We call it Lean mode. It will make you move more flexible while shooting and hiding. Once you get used to lean mode, you can’t escape from it.

Operation7 focuses on realism and provides ‘It only takes one shot! One who aims first, kills first!’ and for the most part this is true. In any map with open areas, it’s vital to aim and fire from a distance since it is nearly impossible to survive long enough to get into close combat. This definitely gives the game a more realistic feel over its rivals.

After further play, some key differences do emerge. Operation7 support Scope Mode, Dot Sight Mode, and also Gun Sight Mode. You can’t normally find the above things on other FPS games.

Game Review:

Since the release of Team fortress classic and counter strike, undeniably, two of the most played online shooters of all times, producers of MMO games have taken quiet and interest in the genre and over the last several years, there have been a number of games which easily fit into the genre of both worlds. Essentially, the marrying of these two facets of gaming results in the MMOFPS and is apparent in titles such as Wolf Team, Combat Arms, Crazy Shooter and recently, e-Games’s newest title Operation7 and the first MMOFPS of the gaming company which will launch its closed-beta test today August 20.

Operation 7, like all MMOFPS games, comes to life in the shadow cast by the ever popular Counter Strike and thus reflects many features similar to its predecessor. With all the glitz and glam of a high end engine, the game, visually speaking, is fairly impressive and has some fairly cool particle effects which are clearly presentable in gun-fire and explosions. The sound effects of course match this perfectly and do not fail to uphold the sense of realism this title is attempting to convey. However, I must admit the music, both in game and waiting room, became fairly annoying and I soon found myself turning it off, replacing it with my own play list.

As with other MMOFPS titles, Operation 7 offers little in the way of character customization and simply offers several avatars from which you can choose. However, one of the coolest features I found in this game was the fact that this was replaced by other areas of player personalization. So, instead of being able to hand pick your character, you, instead, get to hand build your own weapons. Yes, that’s right, you can swap and change just about every component of your primary weapon to suite your play style or role in the mission. This feature was present in Nexon’s Combat Arms, a title released earlier in the year. However, the options given to you in CA goes nowhere near the complexity and depth afforded by Operation 7 and already I can hear gun nuts getting excited about this little feature.

The game itself is set in the normal waiting room format which will be familiar for many players. For those new to the genre, however, the waiting room is your central hub from which you access each facet of the game including the store, your inventory and games which are currently in play. You can either choose one of the latter, or make your own. There are several game modes such as death match, survival and other team and non-team based matches. Though skill and hair-trigger reflexes are all good things to have when playing a game like this, strategy is also important, so, when playing with others, you might want to run through some plans with your team-mates and work together to ensure victory.

Modern in its foundation, the game represents a air of realism through its weapons and every gun in the game is based on those used in real-life and represent both their strengths and weaknesses. For example, sniper rifles, though deadly accurate and powerful, has limited firing capacity and in a close combat situation, it would pay to switch to one of the more high-powered automatics such as the M16 or AK. Upon this, players can also equip other items such as side arms (pistols), melee weapons (combat knives) and frag weapons (grenades).
